Come meet our wonderful staff and see the difference in patient care !

Holly started as a technician about 6 months after SDBAH’s opening and is now the practice manager. She has been in the veterinary field for the last 15 years and her background has predominantly been ER and critical care medicine. She has extensive knowledge in orthopedics, wound care, ICU patients, anesthesia, and is comfortable with all creatures big and small (including exotics and farm animals). She loves doing almost anything outdoors and on/near the water, and used to have her own mini farm with bantam chickens! She has a passion for helping her patients and mentoring her staff and really believes in giving back to the field. If you see her in passing or at the clinic feel free to say hi!

Meet Natalie R! Natalie grew up, up the coast in Venice, CA and has made San Diego Home. She is our Customer Service Rep. Supervisor and is dedicated to providing compassionate care to all patients and a helpful experience for their parents. She’s been in the field for about 6 years, and with SDBAH since 2018. When she’s not at the hospital she’s busy crafting, being a dog mom to her two little Schnoodles, and hanging out at the beach!

Amy has been with SBAH since 2018. She is passionate about providing quality care for her patients and has challenged herself to get more out of life. After serving in the US Army, she was determined to make an impact in people’s lives and decided to go to school to complete a Bachelor’s in Healthcare administration, followed by an Associates in Veterinary Technology. She loves the fast-paced environment of being a technician and the variety of tasks that must be performed with each patient. She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of not only the animals but their owners. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, as well as camping, and staying busy on her ranch. She has 4 sheep, 19 ducks, 30+ chickens, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. (and a partridge in a pear tree)

Meet Erika R.! From San Diego, she is one of our CSR’s and might be one of the first people who help you here at our hospital! She started helping animals in 2018 and is currently going to school majoring in Criminal Justice. She has two cats and 1 senior dog at home who is like her baby. In her spare time she trains in Jiu-jitsu! High-ya!

Meet Allie! She is your go to person if you have questions about scheduling an appointment or need to get in touch with one of our Doctors. She is a born and raised San Diego native and has been caring for small animals in SD for about 13 years! She has rescue, pet daycare, customer service experience and when she goes home, cares for her own two little rescue chihuahuas, Duck & Goose. When she’s not here, she’s with her dogs at the park and the vet-so she REALLY understands the pet owner’s perspective at the hospital!

Meet Lindsey! She graduated from San Diego State and is currently one of our smiling faces up front in reception. She’s been working with animals off and on since 2014. In her free time she enjoys cooking dinners, planning trips (she used to travel a lot Pre-Covid!) and playing with her new pup. Her next adventure will be tackling Nursing School!

Meet Natalie V.! She’s been helping animals since high school but knew her passion when she was just 5 years old! She’s currently finishing her bachelors in animal science and will be applying to Veterinary school afterwards. Her main interest is with dairy cattle and hopes to one day care for them professionally as a large animal Veterinarian! When she’s not working, she enjoys attending music festivals and she loves golden retrievers.

Meet Shiri and her kitty Duker! Shiri is a native San Diegan and has been working in the veterinary field for 9 years. She grew up owning guinea pigs and rabbits and has a soft spot for “pocket pets.” She was then adopted by her two cats in 2008 and is now fluent in cat (meow!) Shiri recently graduated from Mesa College Animal Health Technology program with an AS in Animal Health and has since become a Registered Veterinary Technician. When not caring for animals, Shiri enjoys traveling, music,and dancing!

Rachel has been with SDBAH since 2017. She graduated from Mesa College with an AS in Animal Health Technology in 2016. She passed both the CA and Veterinary Technician National medical board exams, receiving her RVT license in 2017. She has spent time volunteering at the San Diego Zoo Hospital and Project Wildlife care center, and is currently a member of the CA Veterinary Medical Reserve Corp. Her hobbies include traveling, camping, attending hockey games, and visiting local breweries.

Meet Taylor! Taylor was born and raised in San Diego and has been in the veterinary field for 6 years. She has always had a passion for animals while growing up. During Taylor’s free time, you will catch her at concerts, taking her dog Cashew on adventures and exploring nature.

Toni is a San Diego native who holds compassion of animals small and big. She started in animal healthcare 9 years ago and graduated from San Diego Mesa College in 2014 with a degree in Animal Health Technology and has been an RVT since 2016. She has a passion for dental surgery procedures so show her the teeth! Her current hobbies include having adventures with her horse Maggie and her dog Molly.

Meet Jesus. He is a Native from San Diego and has been here all his life. It has been a passion of his for a long time to help out animals anyway he can. He himself has 4 furry friends OB, Chloe, Chico and Maggie who he loves very dearly. In his spare time he likes to play soccer and watch Movies.

Meet Joy! Joy has been in the veterinary field for nine years and has always had a passion to work with animals. Her career began after obtaining her Masters in Marine Mammal Science and becoming a technician for exotics at a zoological facility. Her recent accomplishment includes becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician and making the switch from working with exotics. She is excited to learn and grow as a technician. Outside of the clinic, Joy enjoys spending time at the beach, exploring San Diego, and dance parties.

Meet Meghan (and Fenway)! Meghan originates from Rhode Island but has been a San Diego Resident for 10 years. She has 20 years experience in the field and comes to us with a large range of skills, including emergency medicine and critical care. She is a lead RVT at San Diego Bay and also a big part of our orthopedic team. She has three beautiful cats and 2 amazing dogs that she cares for at home when she’s done saving lives here!

Meet Cerissa! She is the proud parent of two daughters and several fur-babies. She is obsessed with the ocean and anything related to it, along with an obsession with Dachshunds (they’re so cute!!). She has just recently rekindled her love for fitness and has started training for fitness competitions!

Meet Adrienne! Adrienne’s living her best life with her 2 pampered pooches, Mercy and Russell and her tribe of fearless felines! She is a SD native and has had a passion for pets from a very young age! Currently studying to become an RVT, Adrienne’s been helping save lives since 2015 and has experience everywhere from emergency medicine to general practices. When she’s off, you can catch Adrienne cruising around town with Mercy and Russell enjoying the fresh air from the backseat!

Brianna is a San Diego native who has been working in the veterinary field for 7 years. Her love for animals blossomed at a young age. She graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2014 with a specialization in companion and captive animals She is passionate about owner education and dedicated to providing a positive patient care experience. When not at the hospital, she enjoys binging Netflix shows, video gaming, writing, listening to music, and caring for her cat, Berlioz.

Meet Karlie! She moved to San Diego from Oregon, but grew up in a military family and spent most of her life moving. She is new to the veterinary field and started her love and passion for animals here at San Diego Bay Animal Hospital! She has plans to continue her education in veterinary medicine and eventually wants to help rehabilitate endangered species throughout the world. She has grown up in a family who loves all things snakes & reptiles. At one point having 12 snakes in the house! When She is not working you can find her riding her longboard, spending time with her cat Irie and with her family/friends or enjoying her passion for flow arts!
