Vaccinations provide immunity against fatal diseases and have long been recognized as a critical part of maintaining a pet’s health. Some vaccines are core vaccines and should be administered to all pets, whereas other vaccines are considered optional and may be recommended for pets based on their age, health, and risk for exposure to disease.
At San Diego Bay Animal Hospital, we take pride in tailoring your pet’s vaccinations to life style and risk of exposure. We understand that your pet is unique and that one vaccine programmay not be ideal for every pet. Our doctors and staff members are well educated about veterinary vaccines and our goal is to give you the best advice for keeping your pet healthy.
Let us personalize a vaccination schedule that accounts for your pet’s
individual needs.

These vaccines need to be boostered in one year. For indoor-only cats we only continue to vaccinate for DRCP (distemper combo) every 3 years. Feline Leukemia and rabies are for outdoor cats and are boostered every 2 and 3 years.
Remember: Spay or Neuter is usually performed between 4-6 months of age.
We love Dog Beach! But Remember – don’t take your little puppy to Ocean Beach Dog Beach or any other beaches or parks until he or she receives all of his or her puppy vaccines!
