See Kendrick’s Story: A broken jaw doesn’t stop this pug !
Channel 10 news:
CHULA VISTA, Calif. – A local animal rescue is calling a puppy’s severe injuries “suspicious,” and some San Diegans have gone above and beyond to help save the dog’s life.
While he gives endless kisses and wags his tail constantly, it’s tough to tell that Kendrick the pug has had a hard life.
We are lucky to know Kendrick! What an amazing little pug-spirit. His original owners had brought him in for euthanasia after he’d broken his jaw as a result of an attack by a larger dog at their home. He also was hit in the head with a hammer. Pug Rescue of San Diego got involved, saved him from his unfortunate situation, and transferred him to our care at San Diego Bay. We repaired his wounds and reset his jaw. 3-4 weeks with a tape muzzle in place – he was fantastically rehabilitated, maintaining his constantly happy state of pug energy, always tail wagging and giving kisses. He’s now recovered and literally blazing new trails in an amazing new home …. you can follow his story on facebook!
